(3) respect and courtesy, (4) persistence, (5) loyalty, (6) winning and losing, and (7) competition.

Jr. Tackle Football also provides an appropriate opportunity for a young athlete to correct such undesirable traits as: (I) selfishness, (2) poor sportsmanship, (3) Showing off and bragging, (4) losing your temper, (5) quitting without really trying, (6) dictating, (7) being a poor loser, (8) belittling or teasing those with lesser abilities.

WINNING AND LOSING

A serious controversy exists in many quarters today about athletics for youngsters and the undue pressure and emphasis adults (parents & coaches) place on winning. The Jr. Tackle Football position on this issue must be made clear. That winning is not the important issue, the goal is to teach the fundamentals of football, learn sportsmanship and all players receive playing time. But understand that playing time is tied to meeting the eleven items stated above.

I HAVE READ THE FOLLOWING REGULATIONS AND CONDUCT CODE. WE DO AGREE TO ABIDE BY THIS CODE OF CONDUCT.
